From our location our visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Senese landscapes to the south and south-east of the city. In addition there is a beautiful garden to enjoy, and a place where you can relax in the olive grove. There is ample parking on the Palazzo premises. A 15 minutes walk will take you through the ancient Porta Romana and along via Roma to eventually reach the Piazza del Campo. Otherwise you can take the public transport service that will get you to the square in 5 minutes.
Siena is a beautiful city founded by the Etruscans; its ancient medieval treasures have been reinstated in the famous Piazza del Campo, which is regarded as the true heart of the city.
On July 2 and August 16 every year the Palio horse race is held in the Piazza del Campo, and the city is transformed into festive mood. In the days leading up to the Palio, the marching bands of the various contradas (districts) parade through the narrow streets, playing their patriotic music to the mutual delight of residents and tourists. On every day of the year the historical attractions of Siena are manifold; this charming city is the perfect place to enjoy the cuisine and the red wine of the Chianti region of Tuscany.
